Kate Fleming (who is winning for most weave mail so far) was horrified and delighted by this heap-a-hair she found this morning in the Meat Packing District.
I was debating with myself whether it was a Wendy Williams weave she tossed on the way to Dancing with the Stars but after closer inspection I realized there is a bottle of poppers involved so clearly this was a trannie weave that had a very busy night.
Glad to know there are still trannies in trade in the Meat Packing!
I have lived in Harlem for 10 years and although we may have soul food, amazing architecture and some great gospel music, we have something no other neighborhood in Manhattan has- Tumble Weave. It can be found rolling down sidewalks, clogging up drains and skeeting down the subway stairs. No matter how bad your day is, when a tumble weave twirls by with some glitter, old leaves or an eyelash thrown in, it's simply un-be-weavably amusing.

Pet Tumbles
I know this is a bit off topic but two friends sent me these in one week so I had to post.
First up is Xiola and her tumble tuffs way over in LA,
Next is Chairman Meow's incredibly nappy tumble he left on his mothers pillow in Atlanta. Charming...
Thanks Salman and Laura!

Tumble Moss!
My friend Kate Fleming is on a roll. Her dog, Rocco, sniffed a good weave out recently. And today, while smoking on my balcony she spied this little gem. One of my favorite tumbles so far. It's just like Spanish moss in the South.
Gone with the Weave!
