This gurl and her boyfriend are hot on the trail of tumble around the 5 boroughs.
Here are two spotted this weekend.
Thanks darling!
Korean War Memorial Park, Brooklyn Heights.
1st Avenue L Train (We want to know more about the violet grate and the massive foot print...)
I have lived in Harlem for 10 years and although we may have soul food, amazing architecture and some great gospel music, we have something no other neighborhood in Manhattan has- Tumble Weave. It can be found rolling down sidewalks, clogging up drains and skeeting down the subway stairs. No matter how bad your day is, when a tumble weave twirls by with some glitter, old leaves or an eyelash thrown in, it's simply un-be-weavably amusing.

Weave Mail: North Cackalak
Wow! We are having a Southern weave wave. This one from North Carolina.
As our gorgeous girlfriend emailed me:
You know, I had always wondered if I would be one of the fortunate few to actually see a tumbleweave in all her glory one day whisking down the street – that day came true. While walking Maxine, at a local park, we came across this little one and her twin sister! Double the fun & pleasure!!! So I seized the moment and got it on film.
Thank you Michelle! See the glorious results below (and a picture of Maxine thrown in)

Halloween Tumble Treats
Fall is here in New York and here are several of our favorite finds:
Here is the LARGEST tumble we have found to date. We had to get Fergus in the picture to show the actual size. Mama Mia.
And this one is from friends in Brooklyn who found this on their morning stroll. Thanks Skater Boy!
